Teacher-Student Training
Sarah Olson and Kellie Girling gave two days of training to the faculty of the Rise Liberia Academy in Monrovia. The older students received the same material, covering ‘Thinking About Thinking’ with some manipulative exercises using Lego blocks - a new experience for Liberians.
Job Skills Projects
It has always been our aim to give more than an academic education at the academy. We’re so proud off the creative ways in which the school has responded.See here, the Soap-Making project, and freshly baked donuts on sale to support the students and their families.
Frank Town - The Signing
Imagine our excitement and gratitude to God for the ability to purchase six acres of land in Frank Town, the site of our ongoing Rise Liberia ministry.
